Too much computing...

... is bad for my work and my health!

I juggle between 2 oldies (a long-time dying '03 MacBook and a one-by-one-RAM-killer '08 Toshiba Satellite) and a big and powerful desk-computer I thought was a killing machine but it's still not useable for what I need it (and I'm lost into Windows 8).

Then it has been difficult to replace my grilled vacuum (the same range is no more sold, I wanted a less-storage-place brush-vacuum but it cost +300€ to benefit from a pipe passing between furnitures), my stereo no longer reads CDs (but the reading block I have to change costs more than the entiere stereo), I failed a few times to install a hardware driver, and my health card seems to be hard to update (pharmacy sends me to the regional public health management which sends me to the freelancers health management which sends me to the national pro-freelancers health management which sends me to the regional pro-freelancers health management which give me a phone appointement... after 8 minutes by paying call...).

The big computer told me he doesn't want to unzip the .zip in which the manufacturer shall the installer, the Toshiba (after 3 death blue screens) finally installed the drivers. When I run the software I need from this, it pretend I need to install a 10.0 or more version...
The software is from the 10.1 pack from the producer of the device, that point is  important, I don't know what to do but I do know that I needed a few days to do what I was doing almost instantly 10 years ago.

I do need to update the equipment for time to time to be able to respond all the client needs, but that's so annoying...
