Last year the regions of France have been re-borered. You can imagine how much bad it could be, but one more mistake comes that was unexpected: french local authorities showing us how much they have no idea about graphic culture!
May you know the problem with the former Agency for unemployment with its 18M€ logo that was only a colorized version of an italian company's one (the actual one costed 500k€ and looks like our national lottery logo...).
Yesterday has been revealed the logo for the new Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region:
Of course it has been hardly criticized on the social netwroks, because it's not enough punchy. Well, it's not bad if your compare it to the ones it replaces:
We even have the explanation, and I never know if it's a good idea when you know the several steps from the original idea to the final validation?
Tthe global graphic identity (aka the logo + the website) seems more for a big association either for a start-up (so it's really in the trends) but not at all for "the second region of France" (should a local authority accept the commercial trends?).
The worst is that I've immediatly seen the logo of a french bank (not from this region):
Isn't that sad?
