France Go Home - 2/3

My hate for professional football goes farther.
In 1998 I spent some weeks in South Africa and monthes later the first World cup match was France - South Africa. So I looked it and I liked it and I followed the all competition. I even went with my father to see finale on a TV screen in a square of the village… a kind of solemn communion from French people around their
"black, white, maghrebian" team.
But I do not like the flag.

This attachment for a country, a border bounded by the powerful at other moments of the history. When we could build an union of the peoples this seems to be a warrious "grandpa" patriotism.

Amateur musician I play for remembrances (May 8th, April 25th, June 6th, July 14th, November 11th) because I think that these people who fought for a flag died by believing in a "freedom" that they wanted to defend. But I do not believe in it myself by seeing the leaders guiding us in everyday life to fatal solutions for us and for the humanity.
To support the national team is like to connect with the nation and the country. So to be ready to die for (I exaggerate? Ask the Afghanistan soldiers).
Moreover "we" are cutting the retired rights of the employees (but not that one of the Ministers or members of parliament neither the financiers bizarrely) but it seems that the defence budget is not in decline (almost half of the national debt).

The french system of the retired pensions was born in 1936 (Popular Front), have been transformed into distribution system by the Vichy government (Pétain) before taking its current shape during immediate post-war years with propositions from the French National Resistance Council.
Historical reminder to express that I have rather the impression than if the Hitler's armies lost the war his ideas gained it (I shall take time to explain this point in a future day but June 17th -Pétain's call to the surrender and June 18th -De Gaulle's call to the resistance- are not the best context to ask this question). But the dictatorship is no more militarian if not economical. Danièle Mitterrand (ex-French President's widowed) expressed the same idea (french national radio asked 18 French personalities to answer about the June 18th De Gaulle Call today):

FIFA plans to win 2,2 billion dollars during this competition (estimations of 3,3 billion gains against 1,2 billion expenses) after having announced more than 1 billion dollars of income for 2009 (not so bad for a non-lucrative organization). How much will return to the South Africans (the government dedicated 4,6 billion dollars to the works of preparation)?

How world peace could be defended by players whom we took out from the educational system during adolescence to train them scoring goals with a small ball? FIFA gathers more countries than the UNO (207 for 192)… don't you think it's a problem ?
