Of course I'm not PiewDiPie nor T-Serie my fame is really small as only 4 of my videos are over 100 views! And it took them time since my very first day ("youtubers" count only on the first 3 days)!
But still my audience is worldwide!
I'm in touch with someone in Portugal whom I then bought a track (for NASCAAAARRR races!!) and some comments arrived from all over the world saying that my commentary ambiant was very cool by non-french speaking people [so now I wrote english sub-titles, yes I wrote them, yes this is long to do] and so on until another diecast racing wannabe youtuber asked me... to comment his races!
Yes, he race, film and edit the videos he comments for his channel then he edit differently so I comment and publish on my own channel.
One small think: he's from Tokyo!! You can understand I feel like an international star with this kind of collaboration!
Here is the result, the french version of the first episode from the second Tokyo Diecast Racing Season:
You understood the commentary is in french but it's subtitled in english. Eventually you would like to see the original version:
Before I've published it the second episode was on so I'll need to improve my skills to keep in touch with his rythm!
Last week I introduced some of my new grphics for shirts and here newer ones! Didn't I promised one new collection every new season? And here comes the autumn / fall. Winter is coming.
As you can see this season is all about the traditional wooden knife from Savoy.
Except I didn't asked to use the Opinel brand so I'll say this is about the traditional alpin knife. After all the profile is exactly the same all over our mountains from France to Italy. Except the Opinel is thicker because real knives have curves.
And the online shop offers new products like the stickers I was waiting for a long time:
So I've just updated all my previous visuals from the words to the animals and you can choose more than 140 products for every graphic, all available in several colours.
On the 9th of August 1919 was released Johnston McCulley's novel The Curse of Capistrano which has been adaptated on movie the year after starring Douglas Fairbanks as the masked crusader.
The films was a success so the author went to write others stories, then the fox went far in movies (and TV shows, but a lot less than films).
He was my favorite when I was a child! The costumes, the stories, the good one helping the poor people... well, now I undrestand that he can do it only because he was born rich, and that's still incredible than no one see who he is, smarter than Superman!
He has been inspired by people who lived for real like Joaquin Murietta (actually it seems than for one name were in fact 6 men having avenged themselves on white settlers who have had robbed them, the legend grew up then a novel inspired by these popularized the myth) and William Laport (a renegade who was marking his victims with a Z with his blade). Also a english theater series character named The Scarlet Pimpernel.
He has been an inspirtation for DC's Batman and Marvel's El Aquila, and certainly other modern heroes.
So Happy Birthday Zorro!
But... How old is Don Diego?

I've been obese for a long time, I am not any more.
3 years ago my back was totally blocked: cervical, dorsal, lumbago (in the both senses) I've been to see an ostheopatic.
The best way to fight against the lumabo pain was to walk half an hour EVERY DAY.
That went better for my back, also for my weight and my feeling, I was losing 6 pounds a month just by walking!
I walked until I was no longer an obese and I went to stabilize myself under my "obesity weight". So I wanted to do more, to felle better, and I've searched on the Internet, I tried a few "beginners schedules" and I have to say that my definition of a beginner is not the same than the profesional sportpeople's! So I decided to do my own fitness programs.
Then I thought that these could help other people so this Januray I started to share my exercices, food habits, experiments about losing weight and gaining good feelings on a Youtube channel:
My first videos were about getting out of obesity and today starts my "real" fitness program for overweighted people.
I'm not a coach, nor a nutritionist, here are some advices I've found, the ones I tried, the ones I have thoughts about.
Here I start a every-day-challenge on 2 monthes, which is noit easy when you are not a sport addict. Will we play in the next Avengers at the end? Of course not, firstly because it will be in theaters before we end this, secondly because the goal of this program is to recreate energy and force in the muscles to feel better (and maybe to start a real fitness program to gain muscles, we will see what we have done on the 20th of June):
Of course every comment, like, share, subscribe on this Youtube page will be a support to help me motivate myself in making videos... which helps motivate myself to do sport!
So please comment, like, share and subscribe 🍆!

Travelling through Switzerland I've
been attracted by a retrospective around Soulages art in Gianadda
Fundation in Martigny.
Let's be honest, I've been
disappointed.
I was hoping to discover, to see much
more. First, as the exhibition tell, he created furnitures and we see
no one here. People in my age should know his giant pieces covering
an entire museum and I thaught that there would be at least two of
them confronting in a big space, just to say ''he made this kind of
stuff, that's important, here they are''. Nope. The biggest one was
2m height.
I'm pretty sure that someone ion love
with this artist before seeing this have appreciated, because we can
see a few steps in his evolution.
Not enough definited, maybe not enough
valorized?
I'm sad because I drove very much a
lot, and I paid the plain price. I would have regrets not to see it,
but I'm disappointed by what I saw (and by what I didn't saw). And
that's not the first time I'm felling like that this year...
There is ONE emblematic software for designers, it's Adobe Illustrator which is 30 years old this year.
There is ONE emblematic typography for designers, it's Helvetica, created by Max Miedinger 60 years ago. The goal was a typography with a perfect visual balance and we could say that's a success. Just take a look on how much this has been used over the time! We can see the emblematic Swiss neutrality!
Wikimedia - Jim Hood
To be fair, it was not a totally new creation. It's an evolution from a typography from 19th century. In fact, the name came after 3 years of commercialization!
It has been used for a lot of logotypes (Saab, Toyota, Orange, Tupperware...) but the story the most interesting is when Microsoft made Arial by copying Helvetica they thought too expensive. Copying but less good, if you have ever read a long texte written in Arial you know how it give you an headache. BUT the logo of Microsoft is in Helvetica!!
Since that it has been copied, and worst of all declined in some not glorious ways. When in the entire world the Helvetic Rounded respects the balance and the rightness of the original?
I repost here a post I wrote for the Saint-Clair's band I conduce and for which I post videos from our concerts on YouTube. While posting videos of our gigs on the net I was excepting the day we would have troubles with copyright (we declare to play music in live but not to publish it, even for free on the web).
This happened this fall about a video from our célébration of Adolphe Sax's bicentenary 200 ans Sax:
I discovered that a score publisher has monetized this video, claiming its intellectual property.
In fact we wrote this score all from our hands, like most of the tunes we play (to adapt it to our level and our staff). This time I started to write and Julien re-wrote it before to play it.
Whit this piece I was looking a link between several saxophone jazz styles, so either a Charlie Parker or a John Coltrane. Cherokee is a "old withe jazz" and Parker said that was working on this that he founded for the first time the sound he was searching for (a.k.a. bebop), that was kind of the recreation of jazz in my sense. So it was the perfect music.
So we wrote a score inspired by the Parker's version. I would be curious to compare it to the Shapiro Bernstein's one, but I know we didn't copied it. You just have to listen the both (in the same time like in a Boris Vian's book?) to hear they are different. Ours is inspired by their, not the same.
Then we declare the copyrights, because I like to make things good. We declare officalilly the original version as we didn't ask the rights to re-arrange it.
I admit we never declared it for any kind of public broadcast, as we didn't even knew that we could show anything from the concert. And well, I hope fair trade as we use it as a memory for ourselves, we didn't gain any money with that.
Maybe happily, as we could have paid for it (without gaining money) and the editor would have ask to gain a second time directly through YouTube? Well, I don't want to enter a silly controversy, the editor ask to monetize this video for him.
And YT allows you to appeal against, what I did, and you can argue why you disagree the monetization. And that's where the hypocrisy begins:
"After reviewing his claim, the appliant confirmed that it is valid.""
And that's all?!?
Of course, he did, he would not just retract himself!!
No argument, no evidence! So, on YouTube, you can ask to be paid for the work of anyone, just take a chance and it can happen? Hey, this video from anyone I don't know who he is seems to be good and will be played a lot of time, I'll just ask to monetize it about my copyright without prooving anything, he will refuse I will simply confirm (without any evidence) and I can gain money from HIS video?
Because that what I think it is! Yeah, Shapiro Bernstein has the rights on this music, but we paid to play it, and he ask now to gain another time on a free use?
But YT allows you to appeal against again:
... at your own risks: if your complain is re-rejected the video will be removed from the site. And you channel could be too!
But... How the case is judged? In the same way that the first: by the claimant?
No information about that on the YT website, so may it be that bad...
I do know we are not in our rights as we never paid to braodcast it, I have no confidence in the YT system, and I'm not going to risk a waring on our channel as we have less than 50 plays on our best videos (they will not gain anything with this video).
Fanfaronnades are this week-end, last days for the organization!
Before that I've candidated for un unexpected job: Mountain Peddler!
It's a job for the Council for defense of Beaufort's cheese and as it said by its name, it will be about walking from mountains to mountains, as to animate encounters, tasting date, tours...
It's a traditionnal recruitment (curriculum + motivation letter) but as the job will be about communicate throught social networks with videos and photos, I decided to promote myself with a website, a Facebook page, a few videos, and an online shops!
My video is inspired by a movie trailer so my curriculum is inspired by the movie poster:
and my motivation letter is about a trip guide for a mountains walk (you know it's about Beaufort and its region):
Please "like" my videos and my Facebook page, and let's buzz it!
I don't kow why the French presidential election wasn't attractive to me til now, and I don't know why suddenly I've been attracted.
There are more TV show and press covers than in 2007 but it seems that it hasn't been well-seller, maybe journalists were more passionated than citizens.
Well, here is a curious and amazed tour on candidates one week before the first round. I'm trying to explains graphically the mood of each one as it comes to me from medias:
Sometimes you want to brake all around you, but you're not in a movie so you can't brake it all... But 20 years ago (less 1 day) was the french national premiere for the Terminator 2, the one movie which make Schwarzie famous.
But why a commemoration one day before?
Because one day before the national premiere was a pre-premiere in my city! The small cinema (Art & Essai cultural labellized) was the first giant screen in the region so we had seen the movie in a high quality, with Dolby surround...
And I'm still amazed with the first screen in this movie when a T-800 crash a human head!
It was also amazing to see in the same room the youngs bad-american-low-culture fans and the professors from high school! Yes, amazing too to see a movie when I was legally too young to see (that's cool when you're high enough for that... Dracula was very nice but I'm still afraid by The Fly).
Maybe you know that the Governator's french voice is the same for Duke Nukem videogame so here are some T2 scenes with DK sentences:
From Serbia we were a lot dreaming to come back with instruments bhought there. Sure that an international festival is not the better place to find a playable cheap piece, but a couple of us found a drum and a rotary trumpet... for 250euro ! It's not expensive for a trumpet but it need a restoration so I think it has been bhought exactly what it cost.
I'm back without a new thing to repare so I let you a picture from the festival daily on which you can see me with the rotary trumpet, playing with the Amfifanfare near of the trumpeter statue.
Guca is a small 1,800 inahbitants town which organize the Dragacevo Trumpeters Festival since 1961. This is now the biggest trumpet and brass bands festival in the world with 2 competitions (the national and the international) that increase the population by more than 200 for a week.
Highlights are the marching parade in the city center, the competitions finals, and the international stars concerts like Markovic and Goran Bregovic.
I'll write more about this later, we are on the road to back home, I'll transcribe some of all this soon.
Monster is a job-searching website. You can make a curriculum, search for employments, apply to these, and you can also receive the announces direct by e-mail.
This year they have advertised:
My first idea was to, yeah, they founded Céline in less than 24h (Jack Bauer ?) for De Graët Consultingbut they don't tell me how much time Céline was searching for a job on Monster.
Finally I think that the enemployed are yet on Monster, and for free. The firms have to pay (so the society can live) but they may search their candidats with others ways thant Monster (this is what make the website alive). So it's logical to advertize for firms and not for applyers.
But are you sure, seen this poster, that the firms know it?
In fact my first idea was to know if Céline is really working for De Graët Consulting or if she's a model just for a picture... Maybe, Céline, if you come on my blog, you can write me!
The Blog-Job Contest is now closed and the first results are coming !
No the winning blogs, they need time to see the results. But the voters could also win.
For example, they could win iPad, laptops, Wii (it's seems dangerous to win a game console when you have to look for a job!), popcorn machines or a comic book: Moi, 20 ans, diplômée, motivée... exploitée [i.e. Me, 20y.o., graduate, motivated and exploited] by Yatuu:
I have present my blog for this contest so I voted (right, just for my blog, isn't it logical?) and I won!
No, I don't have won the blog contest yet, I won a comic. It's a good mood for the blog contest, no?
And you know what? Yes I'm happy, but my mother (who voted for... hu... my blog, logical) won also... the same comic. Maybe my father won one more at random (we could start a tarffic) but his email is no more available (sorry but we cannot be at the top of hy-tech everyday).
Today is (officially) the last day to vote for the Job-Blog Contest. My challenge was to post everyday and I made it. Now I will prepare my august hollidays: a few weeks with the Amfifanfare then a few weeks with my family, so I will post less thant in July!
So here is the last chance for you to click on my face:
After my motivation video for 2009 Christmas, I was preparing a greeting video for 2010 January and a video curriculum for the spring.
Unfortunately I broke my PC in January so everything has been delayed.
I thought to re-use it for the 2011 greetings but I need to replace the lost rushes and I didn't have what I wanted (for example no enough snow this year). Finally I send a season picture:
What about the video curriculum?
There are a lot of this now, and my motivation video wasn't a blockbuster, and my camera has problem to record sound, so I delay the project one more time.
In fact, now I know what I want to do with it but it would take a lot of time so I can't make it now.
I've already write about dreamjobs this year and you know that I would like to be a top-model make-up assitant. Maybe I could dream to be a model as it's the better way to be with the world most beautiful girls, all-naked.
I'm sure there are some cool points in this job (the beautiful girls in your arms, the jet-set parties, the world shooting...) but I'm not sure that you really have the time to enjoy the situation. The fashion world is said to be an homosexual world that does not attract me (I know it's said for design too but as a designer I won't have to be naked in front of people) and anyway, I'm 30y.o. so I'm too old (and no matter the physical criteria).
More, looking these pictures above I can easily name the women models (Claudia Schiffer, Naomi Campbell, Eva Herzigova, Constance Jablonski, une statue grecque, Kate Moss, Irina Shayk, Eve Mendes) but no men models (well, in fact, 2 pictures were nammed).
In fact it could be a cool job for a small period but it seems to be boring in the time... so vote for me:
I will use a new communication tool about what I an bring to a project:
An designer in the city would necessarily develop the urban and land atmosphere. I suggest it in 2 aspects:
1 – Public spaces design
The spatial designs induce uses. The user can benefit a good value image just seeing these. This has to be a real condition for each project with a symbolized space development.
A symbolic for 2 reasons: first to restore meaning to the gaps that attend every days thousands of people.
Secondly to offer a lisibility to the city net, its human dimension as its functionality.
The mind structure of the city and the developped atmosphere are the foundations of the idealistic: the lived and understood city.
2 – Guidance for Urban Furniture
Towns are protecting their urban environments around their architectural heritage. There are the ZPPAUP guidance. Most of them don't do the same for furnitures that are in this environment (urban furniture, advertising displays, outdoor cafes...). Why do we pay attention to what must remains for centuries (as no to spoil the future generations) and not to what is our every day life (this ones we suffer all the time)?
The idea is a regulation for furniture in the city, like the ZPPAUP do for architectures.
A guidance is intended to secure the practices in a particular area.
It could be an agreement (with obligation of means) or a contract (with obligation for results), it commits the signatories to comply local guidelines, expressed as rules or suggestions.
As it it responds to an honour code for each contractor.
Reading this blog you know that my designer's added value is to performe the user-centering project. Again I divide the topic in 2 parts:
3 – To meet and to understand
Decision makers often have difficulties to understand current low developments in the people on their territory. Of these are emerging new practices which may become a kind of norm in future years. It becomes necessary to engage discussions for projects in these ways developing in the next decades.
So we need to see and share these attempts in open-team to clear the possibilities in cognition, psychology, uses, ergonomy and economy which will make the city of tomorrow.
4 – Co-creat the city5 – The Territorial Identity
Identity is the recognition of what we are by ourslef and others. This would be the image that people have. It starts with a brand, then by the atmospheres, and finally by the life-experience.
All the territory can ''produce'' is concerned from spaces to services and economy. Developping this identity is giving the territory a personality, a soul, and each of these ''products'' would find its place with the user.
The components of the territory are parts of this identity: atmosphere, ergonomy, uses, aesthetics... are the mark of the brand, its appropriation, and with the repetition phenomenon, the range will define a clean ''writing''.
You would be as gentlemen as possible woting for me clicking the superhero who wears underpants over the pants, even if you're a girl:
O.K., to cream the girls on the beach was a pretty good idea, still it's just a spring.
In the same principle Axe deodorants made their ad with a contest to win a meeting with Clara Morgane:
