That the one power engine for utilitarian vehicules, Citroën and Peugeot had one in the ranges, so it has been projected to put an Indenor engine in the Estafette:
Indenor was part of Peugeot group but this factory from Lille was the main producer of Diesel engines in France. That was yet the engine for the 1.000kg Renault trucks.
There is a photo of the prototype in the same book than for the electric one, this exact book in a cardboard box somewhere in my house...
And like the electric one, the cost and the new mass of the truck didn't allowed it to be produced.
