That's one month I didn't published anything. The worst is that the posts all along september were made in advance.
I can't find neither the time nor the energy to make this AFTER my day. Teacher is said to be a nice job without working... Sometimes I would like not to work!
I'm not sure teachers ever have been "notables" but now their heads can be cutted by anyone who disagree.
This is not a valuable job: we are the firsts to endure the parents when their child is not good enough, we can be wrongly accused of absenteeism, only the lessons hours are counted forgetting all the preparation evaluation meetings trainings... I thought this first month I had the same pace of work than when I was a freelancer.
I'm not paid like when I was a freelancer.
My job is stable? Not really, even for the titularized. When the Ministry will remove hours in a course the teachers will be fired.
Note that if this job was so appealling there would be no problem to find new teachers! Schools are recruiting at all levels, and have hard times to find postulants.
So yes, we may have "3 months of hollidays" that doesn't seem enough to compensate the low salary and the work conditions.
Aaaand some difficult students! Some are interested by nothing, some are just fools distrubating everyone, some are not french speakers but they have no more hours to learn the french... We are asked to differanciate our pedagogy, to let a bit more time to some children when they would need a lot of more time to complete the task, and we still need to keep them in the same advancement than the others.
Have you ever realized than when we have a one hour lesson (actually 55 minutes between 2 bells) we really do work for 50 minutes (okay I'm counting down the time for the students to take place and the presence roll) which is not the case in EVERY jobs I've known before where you always can find 5 minutes to take a break, to answer a call, to lose time on the social networks...
No, we can't, we have a room full of students in front of us.
I sarted to write this blog about something totally different. My posts are like a novel character, they have their own life, independant from my aim!
