I've wrote last year how it's used as a politician communication tool. But we are starting an year for presidential election and it affraids me...
Laurent Wauquiez said yesterday that RSA beneficiaries should make a work to have this payement and would not have more than ¾ of the legalized minimal salary, as social minimas are too close from this first income.
Well, I don't respond about the lie about assistantship (as it would be more interesting to see the taxs gifted to shareholders and financial than the social niches... but you not hurt the rich if you are a rich), neither about the permanent allegations of fraud (without a figure or a study to justify it), neitehr about the lack of reflection on salaries (why not raise the salaries to make them more consistent in front of social helps? Why not limit executive salaries? Why not ask these questions, simply?) that are an ideological attack without rational basis.
What is indignant, finally, is to hear a minister (someone that has to take care of everyone and not just the most fortunate among them) offer... maybe to me to provide 5 hours a week for general services.
Why not ? I have a 5 years degree PLUS a Master 2 Professional, I work with local authorities and business firms, but I could also go to trafic school (instead of those who obtained this mission inside their employment ?). I never worked in an insurance fund but I could also assure the hosting in these public offices (for free ramplcement of retired employees ?)...
And then I feell the bashing from this man for this utilities.
After all, general services does not report money in his pockets, so it's useless, so those who work there are helpless, so they can be replaced by anyone met in the street...
The reception in these services, before the reorganization of AssEDIC and Social Health, was to direct users to the right person to solve their problems. Now it must be like the post mail, to direct them to expensive private firms that will not done the work...
Another denigration is for the work itself!
He offers me an exchange of my time and my strenght against social income. I call it a contract of employment. Unless this offer is an hidden work, therefore illegal, but under the State statuts!
Who is Laurent Wauquiez ? He's minister for European Affairs (you knew this ministry?), social benefits are not related to his daily job...
If I believe Wikipedia he never worried for his future: daddy was industrial manager and mom was mayor, right after his bachelor he's in internship with Minister Barrot, school in Normale Sup' and ENA, right out into State Council, deputy at 29 years old (with a report on schoolar helps for Minister Fillon), State secretary and Fillon's governement spokesman in 2007, has been responsible in the 2008 merge ANPE – AssEDIC (we know how it fails) and in the ''reasonable offer of employment'' (you refuse 2 times you're firde from the social helps) befor joining the Michèl Alliot-Marie's Ministry for Foreign Affairs. So he has the right to speak about social issues.
So my question is his exact role from morning to night (and for what OUR taxs are paying him comfortably): Is he in charge of European Affairs (in which case he has nothing to say about the social questions outside what the European Union asks)? Is he in charge of preparing an electoral campaign for 2012 (in which case it doesn't work on his mission for European Affairs and he's in a fictitious job) ?
Maybe he has a issue about Europe? Politicians clearing place for finance, closure of borders for the ''not-rich-enough'', opening of the same borders to those who rob the wealth of states... subjects don't miss!
