Of course I'm not PiewDiPie nor T-Serie my fame is really small as only 4 of my videos are over 100 views! And it took them time since my very first day ("youtubers" count only on the first 3 days)!
But still my audience is worldwide!
I'm in touch with someone in Portugal whom I then bought a track (for NASCAAAARRR races!!) and some comments arrived from all over the world saying that my commentary ambiant was very cool by non-french speaking people [so now I wrote english sub-titles, yes I wrote them, yes this is long to do] and so on until another diecast racing wannabe youtuber asked me... to comment his races!
Yes, he race, film and edit the videos he comments for his channel then he edit differently so I comment and publish on my own channel.
One small think: he's from Tokyo!! You can understand I feel like an international star with this kind of collaboration!
Here is the result, the french version of the first episode from the second Tokyo Diecast Racing Season:
You understood the commentary is in french but it's subtitled in english. Eventually you would like to see the original version:
Before I've published it the second episode was on so I'll need to improve my skills to keep in touch with his rythm!
Tomorrow starts the winter hollidays...
Some days you ask yourself a lot of questions , sometimes your students do, and sometimes you can't not agree with their criticisms against yourself, so you have the impression of not having completely succeeded in your mission, while still having the impression of having fullfilled it.
One example could be a work spanned on 4 lessons. If a student if absent on some of these lessons, how do I rate him? Does I take account on what he did? He was injured or absent so if I rate what he rendered I'm not rating what he could have done...
Recently some students were angry and the mood was not helping to make the group working (a group which is not really in love with working).
Besides that I sometimes use my time working to listen "great" teachers like...
I understand nothing, I love to see that this very smart person, masterizing his subject, famous as teacher, is not comfortable to start his lesson but hey, he doesn't care and just go straight in it.
You need to be inloved with the subject to stay in touch all along the lesson, I'm pretty envious to have this kind of passionate audience in my lessons!
A few weeks without any post, teaching requires so much energy!
After some days I'm exhausted, my brain is out of service. I chill with my phone, looking videos on the web.
I recently discovered a trend I didn't knew existed: commented videos of diecast races.
Yes, you did understood well.
And now I'm obsessed with that.
I'm watching a lot of this stuff, some track designs come, and the mood to make some by myself.
That would be easy as I'm the owner of a lot of model cars.
Unfortunately these are all in my moving cardboxes at my parents' home. And the mood if always growing to make some of this.
Finally I'm done, here is the first:
I was at my parents for a birthday celebration so I took some of my cars and here is the second video:
This is the beginning of a beautiful friendship!
.
I've been obese for a long time, I am not any more.
3 years ago my back was totally blocked: cervical, dorsal, lumbago (in the both senses) I've been to see an ostheopatic.
The best way to fight against the lumabo pain was to walk half an hour EVERY DAY.
That went better for my back, also for my weight and my feeling, I was losing 6 pounds a month just by walking!
I walked until I was no longer an obese and I went to stabilize myself under my "obesity weight". So I wanted to do more, to felle better, and I've searched on the Internet, I tried a few "beginners schedules" and I have to say that my definition of a beginner is not the same than the profesional sportpeople's! So I decided to do my own fitness programs.
Then I thought that these could help other people so this Januray I started to share my exercices, food habits, experiments about losing weight and gaining good feelings on a Youtube channel:
My first videos were about getting out of obesity and today starts my "real" fitness program for overweighted people.
I'm not a coach, nor a nutritionist, here are some advices I've found, the ones I tried, the ones I have thoughts about.
Here I start a every-day-challenge on 2 monthes, which is noit easy when you are not a sport addict. Will we play in the next Avengers at the end? Of course not, firstly because it will be in theaters before we end this, secondly because the goal of this program is to recreate energy and force in the muscles to feel better (and maybe to start a real fitness program to gain muscles, we will see what we have done on the 20th of June):
Of course every comment, like, share, subscribe on this Youtube page will be a support to help me motivate myself in making videos... which helps motivate myself to do sport!
So please comment, like, share and subscribe đ!

May it be funny that I'm making this retrospectiv for the second consecutive year... that means I started to show my main projects of the year since I have no more projects as a freelancer main activity!
How logic I am!
My main job is now to organize a soccer contest for a small associative club (less than 170 members) so of course there is a poster for this competition (why am I starting by the end of the year??):
And for the same club there are a lot of communication products (performing their website, intern communication posters, presentation, cases) including the new year wishes:
I like this one, and not because I'm on it...
More than the poster were the videos from this concert, not a Hollywood movie but still a lot of time on it.
Aaaand even earlier was the management of the communication for the band fest Les Fanfaronnades, plus a few creations (schedule, videos...) including the adaptation of the fest poster (artwork by Siobhan Gately) to create the poster for the volunteers night:
I'm proud to move in the city as a walker as a cyclist as a car driver AND as a public transportation user.
No, I'm not usin skateboard rollers or gyrostatics because of security, no more with a motorbike as I don't have any.
So I can easily see the risks and errors by every user of the public space, regardeless of their vehicule.
The Swiss National Insurance is a YouTuber! With videos about security, mainly at work, and here is one about going to work while biking:
The end is good:
"biker: 10 minutes of biking to go to work, you know it's not death... crash voice off: Death on the other hand is to ride like an idiot on a bike.In almost half of the accidents involving bicycles, cyclists are at fault."
I agree with this portrait, even if for years I'm really less in speed while biking in donwtonw. Sometimes I see myself in a position that could lead to an accident, like in the video when the bike needs to avoid a car which didn't saw him.
That reminds me of a rule that should be taught to everyone for everything. How many kinds of priority do you know on the road? In fact, there are only two: the one you must respect, and the one which must respects you. The first one is an obligation when the second is only optional.
And that's so sad to lose your life by going to "gain it". .
We use to be offended by how much cost a smartphone, but what about the glasses?
In France we have an optical shop offering "3 frames for the price of 1" do you believe he loose money? Of course not, so you can deduce that he's selling you a regular frame... 3x the price!
The same offers "2 frames life guaranted"... Well, no, you just have to read the conditions to understand that will not be.
So, why glasses are so expensive?
Okay, that's really american, that's not the same in France. But I do think that's not so far.
(and yes I have new glasses)
2016 is finishing and this year I could have celebrate the 10 years of my diploma. I didn't.
So I did a retrospective of the biggest projects of the year!
First, what took me most of my time and my energy was nothing professional but organizing musical events: Amfifanfare's 10th anniversary and Saint-Clair's 130th anniversary! And, of course, the production of communication for these, especially the "youtuberslike" promotion for Amfifanfare:
Tne booklet for Saint-Clair was also a nice graphic project:
Having stopped my freelance status I had less projects, logically, so that's my employment as design teacher which became my main professional activity (and it's quasi nothing as I have only a few hours).
In fact I started the year by delivering and following projects made in 2015, including a logo for a lawyer (I still don't have the right to speak about the other projects, sorry:
Other projects have been initiated but no one really started for now, I hope they will next year.
A very light professional year, too light, and too full of associative projects. I have to rebalance all this in 2017!
.
The french private TV M6 has won 3 of
the most influent hits of this summer: firstly with the final of
european football cup, secondly with the Quantico TV cop show with
ccomplexity, and finally with the french adaptation from the english
Benefits Street joking about
the poor people.
That's
the TV canal which made Bog Brother,
Undercover Boss and
The Apprentice in
France, so what could we expect?
I
admit I didn't see the entiere show as I was bored and I can't help
myself to see all of this.
I also
admit that I was excpetating worst than what I saw.
Because
this is the kind of show that creates debates BEFORE to be released!
There
are caricatural comments and shoots, but hey, they followed a few
people, and then we always speak about the late trains and never
about the punctual ones. So we'll remember this ''people from the
north region'' drinking beer all day instead of looking for a job,
and we won't remember the mom taking care of her son's friends. But
she is in the same documentary.
Caricatural
as when I heard ''if you want a job you can have one'', but in a
region where the financial power closed the main firms (so I don't
think there is a lot of jobs in the area).
Here
is a nice explaination on what are our memories made of, well, how
our brain builds memories, false memories (sorry, it's in french, but
one day there will be the same in englsih):
So my
opinion is that there is a big problem with the original ''format''.
We could have shooted more ''nice'' people and less abusive (or
despressive) people ''just waiting for the social helps to buy
alcohol''. We could have know more about the social and economical
environment for each individual, we coule have a global view so it
would have been less stigmatizing.
Hey,
is that me or are they giving the postal adress (and if you didn't
understood there is a nice architect's 3D to show you where these
people live in the district)? Isn't it contrary to journalistic
ethics?
So
what is the objective of the channel, showing THIS documentary,
shooted like THAT and builded THIS way? The worst is when you read
the director talking about wanting to show the consequences of theunemployment, and you'ld want to ask why the broadcast does not match
with his living experience? That's weird.
I'm
pretty sure I wouldn't question like that if we were not one year
before our presidential election...
Mon nom est Ed from Franck Jouneau and Guy Autret will be launched in 2017.
I'll be seenable in a meeting sequence, as a simple extra, but it was nice to see a movie shootage from the inside! Also to see rooms from the city hall I've never saw before!
I discovered that a score publisher has monetized this video, claiming its intellectual property.
In fact we wrote this score all from our hands, like most of the tunes we play (to adapt it to our level and our staff). This time I started to write and Julien re-wrote it before to play it.
Whit this piece I was looking a link between several saxophone jazz styles, so either a Charlie Parker or a John Coltrane. Cherokee is a "old withe jazz" and Parker said that was working on this that he founded for the first time the sound he was searching for (a.k.a. bebop), that was kind of the recreation of jazz in my sense. So it was the perfect music.
So we wrote a score inspired by the Parker's version. I would be curious to compare it to the Shapiro Bernstein's one, but I know we didn't copied it. You just have to listen the both (in the same time like in a Boris Vian's book?) to hear they are different. Ours is inspired by their, not the same.
Then we declare the copyrights, because I like to make things good. We declare officalilly the original version as we didn't ask the rights to re-arrange it.
I admit we never declared it for any kind of public broadcast, as we didn't even knew that we could show anything from the concert. And well, I hope fair trade as we use it as a memory for ourselves, we didn't gain any money with that.
Maybe happily, as we could have paid for it (without gaining money) and the editor would have ask to gain a second time directly through YouTube? Well, I don't want to enter a silly controversy, the editor ask to monetize this video for him.
And YT allows you to appeal against, what I did, and you can argue why you disagree the monetization. And that's where the hypocrisy begins:
"After reviewing his claim, the appliant confirmed that it is valid.""
And that's all?!?
Of course, he did, he would not just retract himself!!
No argument, no evidence! So, on YouTube, you can ask to be paid for the work of anyone, just take a chance and it can happen? Hey, this video from anyone I don't know who he is seems to be good and will be played a lot of time, I'll just ask to monetize it about my copyright without prooving anything, he will refuse I will simply confirm (without any evidence) and I can gain money from HIS video?
Because that what I think it is! Yeah, Shapiro Bernstein has the rights on this music, but we paid to play it, and he ask now to gain another time on a free use?
But YT allows you to appeal against again:
... at your own risks: if your complain is re-rejected the video will be removed from the site. And you channel could be too!
But... How the case is judged? In the same way that the first: by the claimant?
No information about that on the YT website, so may it be that bad...
I do know we are not in our rights as we never paid to braodcast it, I have no confidence in the YT system, and I'm not going to risk a waring on our channel as we have less than 50 plays on our best videos (they will not gain anything with this video).
A video (in French) about intermittency in French showbusiness, and more, about precarious works:
I disagree when they evok the "employers' need for flexibility" as we see that french firms offered 30% more of dividends than last year. Do they really need flexibility of employed when their capital is so prosperous?
And this is even more explicit when you take a look on some algebra:
_ 36,8M€ distributed to shareholders in 2013;
_ 20M€ offered by government as tax free for research to ensure the competitiveness (they already offered more dividends so they have this money yet);
_ nearly 30M€ are still promised under the "responsability pact" to these same firms to hire (they already offered a lot of dividends so they have enough money to hire people).
Nothing about overweight people but the mix of grizzly (pushed to the north by urbanization²) and polar (pushed to the south by global warming and melting ice).
*: "grolar" sounds exactly like "gros lard" i.e. "fatso"
²: Plus it directly affects my area of expertise.
In 10 years we will write how facilities energy and cooling production servers Google and Facebook are unhealthy for the environment and colonizing warming virgin territories, but we'll be in 10 years.
Fanfaronnades are this week-end, last days for the organization!
Before that I've candidated for un unexpected job: Mountain Peddler!
It's a job for the Council for defense of Beaufort's cheese and as it said by its name, it will be about walking from mountains to mountains, as to animate encounters, tasting date, tours...
It's a traditionnal recruitment (curriculum + motivation letter) but as the job will be about communicate throught social networks with videos and photos, I decided to promote myself with a website, a Facebook page, a few videos, and an online shops!
My video is inspired by a movie trailer so my curriculum is inspired by the movie poster:
and my motivation letter is about a trip guide for a mountains walk (you know it's about Beaufort and its region):
Please "like" my videos and my Facebook page, and let's buzz it!
After my motivation video for 2009 Christmas, I was preparing a greeting video for 2010 January and a video curriculum for the spring.
Unfortunately I broke my PC in January so everything has been delayed.
I thought to re-use it for the 2011 greetings but I need to replace the lost rushes and I didn't have what I wanted (for example no enough snow this year). Finally I send a season picture:
What about the video curriculum?
There are a lot of this now, and my motivation video wasn't a blockbuster, and my camera has problem to record sound, so I delay the project one more time.
In fact, now I know what I want to do with it but it would take a lot of time so I can't make it now.
More of that, I'm proud to be on the first page with the title : "He's selling himself as a brand : This urban designer is singing on his blog to find a job."
No, the central photo is not mine, this is Mister Quo Vadis introducing 2011 organizers (they too are seing for future).
As you have seen, Christmas Father didn’t offered me what I was expecting. Therefore I have been a nice boy all the year !
So I’m still searching, DailyMotion has confirmed the Creative content today so I hope more viewings, and maybe the first page of DM as to have 10.000 views !
I have created a fan page on Facebook, so you can be my fan just clic here !
I’ve posted my video one week before Christmas and I was expecting a big present from the red-old boy : to give me a real job !
It was something really optimistic as I was in holidays 3 days after, in a place without web (next WiFi point in 15km…), and certainly the people were in holidays in the same time…
So, what happens in one week ?
The video has been posted on Thursday 17th of December. H+7 first comment on Facebook ; H+11 first international comment (and first comment on DailyMotion) ; H+12 first proposal for a job… secretary in a communication agency (sweet but really not what I want) ; H+15,5 first proposal for a design job (without linked page) ; H+23,5 the linked page appears… in the same email, so is Google; J+1 more than 400 views on DailyMotion (how on Facebook ?), so it’s my 3rd more viewed video on the site. In fact, I was expecting more than 500 but Even Dwarfs Started Small !
The Creative content has not been delivered by DailyMotion (in hollidays ?), I hope that i twill be a plus for the viewing of my movie ! Maybe the star movie of the day ?
That’s all folks to year, have a nice gastro, see you on 5th of January.
Happy new year !!
The curriculum movie is too known, here is a new kind of creativity : the motivation movie :
Yes, it is in french, there is a risk with humour, with a wellknown musical theme (which would be cutted on the web ? and what about the lyrics ?), with a last-moment posting (but what is Christmas ? Just a run beetwen toys shops and flowers)... and more of that I am going in hollidays without web in only 3 days ! Very hard to answer the mails !!
I've been without activity on the Internet, really I've been without activity at all, so I'm back.
No too much, hollidays are coming !
But I want a job, a real job with medium-but-constant salary and as much interest as I would allow myself.
So I want to buzz (not Aldrin) ! I will make my own home-made promotion campain, first with a wannabe-video, second with my blogs.
I'm French so my blogs are french-writted, but if you are in another part of the world and you want me to work with you (why not ?) I will translate here (with my french bad english, so cute when spoke but not funny when writted) the best of my french blogs.
